Terms of Service

By contacting us, requesting a sample, or engaging Stamp Collecting Services ("we," "us," "our") for work, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Specific fees, scope, and timelines are confirmed in writing (email or message) before work begins unless otherwise stated.

• Scope — We provide philatelic support services such as image preparation, identification, cataloging, data entry, and related tasks as agreed with you for each project.
• Deliverables — You receive the agreed files, spreadsheets, listings, or other outputs in the formats we confirm with you. Any platform access (for example listing services) is only with credentials and permissions you explicitly provide.
• Not professional advice — Our identification and grading-style notes are opinions for cataloging or listing purposes only. They are not a substitute for expert certification, insurance, or legal advice. Stamp Collecting Services' stamp identification is limited to what can be seen in the image(s) you provide; features such as paper types, watermarks, and some aspects of condition or quality often cannot be determined exactly from an image alone.

• Materials you send — You confirm you have the right to share scans, images, and data with us and that they do not violate any third party's rights.
• Accuracy — You are responsible for final decisions on varieties, pricing, and listing content we prepare from your instructions or references. Because our identification is limited to visible image evidence, paper types, watermarks, and some aspects of condition or quality often cannot be determined exactly from an image; you should verify any detail that materially affects value, insurance, or sale.
• Account access — If you grant listing or store access, you remain responsible for your account security and for revoking access when the project ends.

We aim to match your agreed specifications. Reasonable revisions within the original scope are handled as discussed. Free sample terms apply only when we offer them for that engagement. You may cancel future work with reasonable notice. Payment shall be due for fees for work already completed or for work already in progress, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in messages or quotes.

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations under these Terms of Service due to causes beyond their reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to, acts of God (such as floods, earthquakes, fires, lightning, or severe storms), war, civil unrest, riots, pandemics, epidemics, labor disputes, utility or telecommunications failures, and government orders or restrictions. The affected party shall notify the other party as soon as practicable and shall resume performance when the circumstance has ended, subject to any revised timeline reasonably required.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or listing errors after you approve deliverables).
